Shadows Photos of the Book of
Shadows came from the movie,Practical Magic or
the fan site Amas Veritas.
Photos of my own miniature Book of Shadows are mine.
The
Paintings Used
Many of the paintings used in the house were
downloaded from this very interesting blog on
American women painters
and women in painting, and the companion blogs from other periods. I
felt that in keeping with the story of the Owens
women and their house the paintings would all have been portraits
of their female ancestors and this site proved to be a valuable
resource. I tried to include women from as many periods of history as
possible. Other paintings were obtained from Google image searches.
